Your Guide to Paying for DTS at YWAM Lancaster
We get it. Many students hesitate to apply because they’ve never fundraised before. That’s why we created this guide to help you take your next step with confidence.
You don’t need a big savings account or wealthy friends. You just need a heart ready to say yes, and the courage to invite others into your journey.

How to Pay Your School Fees
Once you’re accepted, YWAM Lancaster will email all student invoices. See the school payment schedule below or your acceptance letter for your school specific payment schedule. Payments can be made through the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card (Preferred)
Follow the link in the invoice emailed to you.
Pay securely online.
Checks
Please make checks payable to YWAM Lancaster and In the memo line, please specify the person’s account you are giving to by first and last name.

Important Note About the Deposit
A $500 enrollment deposit is required and must be paid no later than one month before your school starts.
Equip Supporters to Give to you
This section is designed to help you as you raise funds for the school you’ve applied to. Please note: We do not have a giving link that allows supporters to give directly toward your student fees online.
You are responsible for collecting the funds personally through the methods listed below and then submitting payment through the invoice(s) We send to you.
However, if a supporter would prefer to give directly: They may do so by writing a check made out to YWAM Lancaster, with your full name in the memo line. This check can then be mailed to our campus or handed to you to submit in person. Once received, our finance office will apply it to your student portal account.
There are two types of giving:
- Tax-Deductible Giving (Best for Larger Gifts or Church Involvement)
- Some churches can receive donations on your behalf and then send them to YWAM Lancaster.
- Encourage your local church to consider sending you as a missionary-in-training. They can:
- Cover you in prayer.
- Help you raise funds or provide space for fundraisers.
- Receive donations and send them to YWAM Lancaster for tax-deductible processing

Financial and Refund Information
We want you to feel confident and prepared. Below you’ll find a clear schedule of costs and deadlines so you know exactly what to expect.
Training Payments: $3,995 (per individual)
Outreach Payments: $4,000 – $6,000 (per individual)
Within the first 4-6 weeks of the school, you will get an established Outreach price within the range given. This includes ground fees such as food, housing, transportation, and airfare. This fee does not include personal spending money.
School Payment Schedule:
PHASE 1
- Enrollment Deposit Invoice sent – 2 months before school
- Enrollment Deposit due – 1 month before school
- Remaining Tuition Invoice sent – 1 month before school
- Remaining Tuition due – Arrival Day
PHASE 2 + 3
- Outreach Deposit Invoice sent – 1 month into the school
- Outreach Deposit due – 2 months into the school
- Outreach Final Payment Invoice sent – 2 months into the school
- Outreach Final Payment due – 3 months into the school

How to Check Account Balance
Contact our office at accounting@ywamlancaster.com, and we will help you check your balance.
*When communicating with potential donors, please remember that donations towards your school are NOT tax deductible. The reason is because the IRS defines it as payment for a program/service. *
