YWAM Lancaster is dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission by empowering and equipping individuals to share the gospel with people in hard to reach places. Our mission is to help you live your life boldly and catalyze movement across the face of the earth. We aim to be a catalyst, an instigation, and a spark to ignite your way into living your life on mission, while being radically in love with Jesus.

Why Lancaster?

Grow where you are planted

Lancaster County is on the brink of revival and possesses a rich legacy of zealous faith. A historic move of God has guided many from this region to enter into missions around the world, and Lancaster has sent more missionaries, per capita, than anywhere else in North America.

We believe the missions movement of Lancaster County has only just begun, and we endeavor to partner with God in training the extraordinary men and women in this region for missions outreach. YWAM Lancaster is a platform to pioneer new works in unreached nations and a launchpad to the 10/40 window.

We believe thousands will be called to Lancaster and sent from this place to be bold gospel witnesses to our generation.

What We Believe

We affirm that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God and is the most relevant, transformational tool.

Presence of God

We will prioritize a culture of worship and prayer and cultivate dependency on His Word to lead us. Worship and prayer are primary expressions of intimacy with God for us personally and corporately. Hosting place first, then a training center. Presence priority, First Commandment, first place!

Work of the Holy Spirit

We embrace the full work of the Holy Spirit as essential for transformation and fruitfulness. We are surrendered to Holy Spirit leadership and committed to instant, joyful obedience!

Unity of Believers

We will model family by growing believers through intentional discipleship in sacrificial love, radical generosity, and bridge-building across the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 John 17:23 Philippians 2:2-3

Bold Gospel Message

We will go live the gospel, as a witness, to all people in every sphere until the whole world hears. We are focused on establishing a sustained Gospel witness in unreached locations and shaping culture for the purpose of transformation in the spheres of society.

Hear about the impact others have experienced

I remember at the start of DTS when we were encouraged to do quiet times, it was an alien-concept to me. I had never prioritized Jesus like that/ my relationship with him consistently. When I first started doing them I don't think I realized I was doing it out of religious duty and not out of a want/ a desire. After the revelation that I just checking off a box I repented to God and saw how he was wanting me to be disciplined and wanting intimacy with me. I remember one specific morning when I was journaling and asking God what he thought of me and writing it down and it just felt like a father/daughter moment. I was feeling seen by the father and known. It was the first time in a very long time or possibly the first time ever I had such an intimate moment with Jesus.

Serving local youth groups has been a great opportunity for me to be a bold gospel witness! I had the opportunity to sit with a girl and lead her through the 4 R’s: repenting for believing lies from the enemy, receiving Jesus' forgiveness, rebuking the enemy and then replacing the lies with the truth. I believe walking her through that practical step of finding freedom changed her and helped her to see how much Jesus wants her to walk in His Spirit.

I was challenged in walking in the leadership of the Holy Spirit because I had fear of man. Now God has showed me how simple it is to step out in the Holy Spirit's lead.
